Black and Whites frustrated at Clyde
Elgin missed out on the chance to move top of the Third Division table as Clyde fought from two-goals down to claim a 2-2 draw.
A victory would have ensured the Black and Whites leapfrogged Queens Park at the summit, and the visitors made the perfect start when Jamie Duff gave them an eighth-minute lead by lashing home Daniel Moore's inswinging corner.
David Niven then extended Elgin's lead after 35 minutes when he nodded in Graeme Beveridge's cross from the right.
But the hosts halved the deficit three minutes before the interval when Stuart McColm applied the finishing touch to Sean Fitzharris' centre.
And Clyde struck again shortly after the restart as Mark Nicolson upended Fitzharris inside the penalty box, with John Sweeney keeping his cool to blast home the resulting spot-kick.
Craig Gunn hit the crossbar moments later and Sean Crighton headed over, but Elgin were unable to find the goal which would have put them in pole position.
