Clyde 1-0 Montrose- Match Report

Scullion is super-sub

Substitute Patrick Scullion secured a 1-0 victory for Clyde over Montrose.

Clyde almost took the lead against the run of play after 41 minutes when Kieran McDonald's strike rattled against the Montrose crossbar.

And they did go ahead after 63 minutes when Scullion rose to meet McDonald's cross.

Scullion almost doubled Clyde's advantage seven minutes later, heading another McDonald cross just over the bar.

The striker had another chance to grab a second 11 minutes from time, but his drilled right footed strike just went wide.

Scott Gordon came close to bringing Montrose back into the game on 83 minutes, when his shot from the right side of the penalty area ricocheted off the crossbar.
